When you sign in using supported authentication providers, we may receive information from:

• Google Sign-In
• Sign in with Apple

The information received is limited to what you authorize through those services and may include your name and email address.

Device Data

InspectEZ does not collect:

• Precise location information
• Background location information
• Contacts
• Microphone recordings
• Advertising identifiers
• Usage analytics
• Performance analytics
• Crash reporting data

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Create and manage user accounts
• Authenticate users
• Allow inspectors to complete inspections
• Generate reports and PDFs
• Store and retrieve inspection records
• Respond to support requests
• Process account deletion requests
• Maintain and secure the platform

We do not use collected information for advertising purposes.

Camera and Photo Library Access

Camera access is used solely to capture photographs for inspection records. Photo library access is used solely to allow users to upload existing photographs relevant to inspections. InspectEZ does not access photographs unrelated to user-selected inspection activities.

How We Store Information

Inspection and account data are stored using infrastructure operated by our service providers. Information may include user account records, inspection records, uploaded photographs, signatures, and generated PDF reports.

Local draft information may be temporarily stored on a user's device while an inspection is being completed.

Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the service. Current providers include:

• Supabase (authentication, database, and storage services)
• Google Sign-In
• Sign in with Apple
• SendGrid (transactional email delivery)

These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information.

We do not rent personal information.

We do not share personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.

Information may be shared only with service providers that help us operate the platform, including authentication, storage, database, and email delivery providers.

We do not share user information with government agencies except where required by applicable law.

Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the service.

When a user deletes their account:

• Account information is deleted
• Inspection records are deleted
• Uploaded photographs are deleted
• Signatures are deleted
• Generated reports and PDFs are deleted

InspectEZ does not maintain a post-deletion retention period for user data.

Account Deletion

Users may delete their account from within the InspectEZ application. If a user cannot access the application, deletion requests may be submitted through the public account deletion page or by contacting support.

Once deletion is completed, associated account and inspection data are permanently removed from the service.

Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

While we strive to protect information, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

InspectEZ is designed for professional inspection workflows and is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we become aware that personal information from a child has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

International Users

Information may be processed and stored in countries where our service providers operate infrastructure. By using InspectEZ, you acknowledge that information may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence where permitted by applicable law.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When material changes are made, we will update the Effective Date shown at the top of this policy.

Continued use of InspectEZ after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
